WHO RUNS THE WORLD? GIRLS - BIKER GIRLS TO BE PRECISE IF MOUNTAIN BIKE BRAND TIGRESS HAS ANY SAY IN IT!
Cycling clothing, it's plentiful and everywhere. Or is it? Tigress Tails'n'Trails was founded when a group of girl-friends decided to get mountain bikes during lockdown. Getting the bikes was easier said than done with high demand during Covid, but getting well-made, well-fitted and well-designed mountain bike clothing for women at an affordable price was even harder. So what do you do if you can't get what you want on the market? You make it yourself and start a company off the back of the compliments you receive, naturally!
TIGRESS TAILS'N'TRAILS
During lockdown, some friends and I bought mountain bikes so we could spend time together - socially distanced of course. During our rides we lamented the lack of women's clothing on the market that wasn't insanely priced or just plain boring. We joked about setting up our own brand as we rode through tree-lined trails. Nothing more was said, but an idea had sparked and I thought it would be fun to explore.

I researched bike manufacturer and cycling clothing brands, and types of mountain biking to see the diversity of need within the market. With the core USP's being:
• Designed by women, for women
• Quality at an affordable price and
• Produced in the UK
I created Tigress Tails'n'Trails, designing the logo and creating the brand from the ground up, with a product design and an app to sell them.
